| Job Summary/Basic Function | Areas of responsibility include (1) teaching undergraduate on-campus nursing students (both theory/didactic and clinical); (2) assisting with student recruitment; (3) scholarly activities (research, publishing and presenting results at professional meetings and in peer reviewed journals); (4) serving on school, college, and university committees, and providing service to the community; and (5) assisting in curriculum development, outreach, and student outcomes assessment; (6) mentor students. |
| Specific Responsibilities | This is a 10-month regular faculty appointment with candidates eligible for the rank of Assistant Professor. Faculty will teach on campus in-person undergraduate nursing courses. Faculty is expected to participate in scholarly activities and service to Indiana State University, the College, School of Nursing, and the profession. Will be expected to teach, mentor students, engage students in curricular and extracurricular activities to advance the institutional mission of experiential learning and community engagement, assist in student recruitment, student success, and other activities. |
