As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. This role is ideal for someone who brings professionalism, strong communication, and a service mindset. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter access points.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
• Monitor store activity and support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee movement, checking restricted areas, and reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
