Position Overview

The LP1 Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations with a strong focus on pharmaceutical product safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Warehouse Supervisor leads Warehouse and Materials Management Operators in the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of materials to support the manufacturing of high-quality medicine. This role is pivotal during both the project delivery and startup phases, requiring adaptability, collaboration, and resilience as the Lebanon site grows toward full-scale GMP manufacturing. This position requires previous experience handling and storing hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations comply with FDA, OSHA, DOT, TSA, EPA, cGMP/GDP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and address health and safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and conduct operations in a manner that protects safety, environment, and quality.
  • Enforce high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance.
  • Oversee daily Warehouse Operations, including receiving, storing, and handling of raw materials and consumables, and shipping active pharmaceutical ingredients. Additional Materials Management oversight including Sampling and Weigh & Dispense operations within the central warehouse.
  • Assign workloads, manage schedules, and provide coaching and direction to warehouse staff.
  • Ensure consistency of operations through active engagement on the floor.
  • Manage events, ensure appropriate communication within the team and with external teams, and provide input for investigations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits and cycle counts, and ensure proper documentation for all material movements.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, EWM, and RF scanners for inventory control.
  • Ensure all products are stored correctly and the warehouse is organized and clean.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team, set objectives and development plans, and ensure operators are appropriately trained.
  • Foster teamwork, inclusivity, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Respond to employee relations issues and escalate to management as necessary.
  • Ensure the team is adequately resourced to meet business objectives, managing overtime as necessary.
  • Participate in audits, deviation and CAPA investigations, and change controls.
  • Ensure timely completion of audit action items and support regulatory inspections.
  • Ensure that operators are appropriately trained, and that operating procedures and training materials are available and current.
  • Work with Engineering, Quality, HSE, Industrial Hygiene, and Manufacturing teams to implement safety projects and optimize warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate to build the organization’s capability, capacity, and culture for operational excellence.
  • Assist in the selection of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE) for use in operations.
  • Support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities for new or modified warehouse processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Develop and implement systems, processes and standard operating procedures (SOP) needed to run the site, leveraging existing knowledge and external best practices.
  • Design training documents and plan to qualify operators in warehouse operations (JIT, receiving, shipping, sampling, & dispensing).

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing environments, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to train and mentor others.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials and operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of FDA guidelines, cGMP, GDP, and other regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency with computer systems (desktop software, WMS, SAP, EWM, MES).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not anticipated.

Additional Preferences

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in science, engineering, logistics, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to work extended shifts and overtime as required.
  • This position may require short-term assignments (up to 6 months) domestically or internationally for training and certification.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$35.33 - $51.83

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
