As a Senior Labor Relations Representative, you will play a key role in our ability to deliver what we promise to our customers.

You will support the Labor Relations Manager in driving operating efficiencies through contractual agreements, provide labor relations support to employees and plant operating management, and enable a positive workplace culture and environment by:

  • Support the Labor Representatives as a subject matter expert
  • Support training and development of Labor Representatives
  • Managing the implementation of contractual commitments such as attendance management, progressive discipline procedure(s), and workforce administration
  • Participate in EEOC and workplace investigations
  • Assist with coaching manufacturing and union leadership to resolve business challenges
  • Advising and counsel management and union on the administration of contractual obligations
  • Administer data analytics by running attendance reports and gather information to compile into presentations with trend analysis
  • Contributing to the application of our lean manufacturing method ology
  • Assisting with team local negotiations between operating management and local un ions

Key experiences and know-how:

The following prior experiences will be required for someone t o be successful in this role:

  • Use of Stellantis HR/Labor systems used in the plants including PeopleSoft, Cognos, IBM Notes, electronic discipline system, CATs, etc.
  • Participation in a collective bargaining process
  • Interpretation a nd application of contracts and agreemen ts
  • Working with multiple stakeholders, all of whom have competing agend as, to ensure the most effective solutio ns are derived
  • Experience with compliance and investigatory processes within a union environment
  • Facilitation or particip ation in difficult interactions or situa tions, focusing on conflict resolution
  • Analyzing data and using data to make decisions

Basic Qualifi cations:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experien ce in Human Resources with emphasis in l abor relations in a manufacturing settin g
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information System and reporting tools (PeopleSoft, Cognos, and CATS)< /span>< /li>
  • Proficient with Mi crosoft Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • < span data-contrast="none">Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or Industria l Relations
  • Minimum 2years of experience in Hu man Resources with an emphasis in labor relations in a manufacturing setting
  • Advanced degree with concentration in Hum an Resources , Indus trial Relations or Law
  • Experi ence managing a team
  • Multi-tasker able to meet deadline
  • Able to interact with all levels of HR/ER, management and UAW officials to accomplish goals
