The Plant Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and modifying electrical devices and systems associated with feeder/branch circuits and over current protection.
\n\n-Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times
\n\n-Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, switches, times, transformers, power rectifiers and photoelectric sensors
\n\n-Operates equipment and tools to complete work such as cutting, threading, bending conduit, removing and replacing conduit, fittings and junction boxes
\n\n-Installs and connects distribution and utilization equipment components; ensures safety codes and National Electric Codes (NEC) are met prior to installation
\n\n-Draws, reads and interprets electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
\n\n-Conducts weekly/monthly calibrations as required by regulatory agencies
\n\n-Serves as active member of the Plant Emergency Response Team (PERT); ensure electrical shutdown in case of emergency
\n\n-Utilizes the appropriate required personal protective equipment (PPE) as this position works around hazardous materials
\n\nQualifications:
\n\n-3 years of experience as an electrician
\n\n-Previous experience working with PLC's
