About Us
Community Rehabilitation Hospital North is a state-of-the-art, 60-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence and return to the lives they love following an injury or illness.
Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
Community Rehabilitation Hospital North strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
We are CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and our Stroke, Spinal Cord, Amputation, and Brain Injury Specialty Programs.
How you’ll contribute
- Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
- Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
- Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
- Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- CPR/BCLS Certification required
- Minimum six months of relative experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
