Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established underground utilities and heavy civil contractor based in the Indianapolis area. This role will oversee municipal infrastructure projects including water, sewer, storm drainage, and site development work.


Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This includes budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple underground utility and heavy civil projects
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Handle client relationships and project reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Support bidding and preconstruction efforts as needed

Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in heavy civil or utility construction
  • Strong background in underground utilities (water, sewer, storm) preferred
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with municipal or DOT work is a plus
